Our leavers are our greatest asset, showing our younger students what is possible and inspiring us through their successes. Whether it’s securing a place at a top University, setting up their own business, or taking on a challenging apprenticeship to hone their skills with a specific career in mind, their chosen paths never fail to excite us.

University courses chosen this past year included everything from Law, Medicine and Marine and Freshwater Biology to Product Design, Engineering, Aeronautics and Nueroscience.
And the destinations our students go on to are just as exciting. A large number of our leavers go on to study at top-tier Scottish institutions, including the University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow. In the 2024/25 session, our students have also ventured overseas to America, whilst others are making their mark down south at universities including Durham and Kings College London.

Our dedicated Higher Education team is with our students every step of the way, and our strong links with institutions across the UK stand our students in great stead for what comes next. We see it as a partnership between our teachers, students, and their parents. Our team supports students with interview prep, helps them hone their personal statements and application forms, and liaises with their chosen destinations to ensure they are on the right path.
