At Erskine Stewart Melville, our education lasts a lifetime and so does the community that you become a part of.
We have alumni based all around the globe and opportunities to meet and connect with them in person or online through our network of alumni chapters and our Development team.
Erskine Stewart Melville Connect is a powerful digital platform, membership of which is open to all members of the extended Erskine Stewart Melville Community for free. The site is being used to seek out new jobs, to develop business connections and opportunities and to provide advice and support for young alumni.

I have now secured a job within an Artificial Intelligence startup (closer to my interests), a decision which his mentorship and advice really empowered. Our relationship is now very much a friendship and I look forward to continuing our regular catch-ups for a long while!”

The network was introduced in 2016, and members are invited to volunteer to take part in careers events and to support teaching by sharing their own professional experiences. The 2024-25 session will see the return of our Connect networking sessions which take place in the evening at school. These are termly through the year and feature a speaker from our community talking about either an aspect of their work or their career journey followed by coordinated networking sessions which teach pupils and young alumni how to maximise networking to achieve their career goals. Further information about these events will be available via our News and Events sections as dates and speakers are established.
