ESMS Community Monthly Lunch
These regular monthly lunches in conjunction with the SMC FP Club are open to all in the ESMS Community and are a great way to catch up with friends in a relaxed environment. Lunch will be soup and a meat or fish main for £19 per head with three courses available for £21 per head.

ESMS London Connect
Our second ESMS Connect London event, in partnership with the Erskine Stewart Melville London Club, will be held on Thursday 2 October from 6pm. FP Stewart Licudi, Head of European Investment Banking for William Blair is kindly hosting us once again in their offices in Liverpool Street. Our guest speaker is 1977 SMC FP Chris Darling, Founder and Chair of Darling Associates Architects and Anthony Simpson, Principal, will provide an update on ESMS. I do hope you will be able to join fellow former pupils and members of the ESMS team for what promises to be an excellent follow-up to last October’s event.

Community Coffee Morning
You are invited to come along to our final community coffee morning of 2025 on Thursday 30 October, graciously hosted at The Merchants Hall, 16 Hanover Street, Edinburgh EH2 2EN from 10am –12pm.
Alumni, former staff and friends from across our community are welcome to join for this special morning, which will include coffee, tea and biscuits. There will be an opportunity for an exclusive look at some of the newly acquired documents covering the history of the Schools.

Annual Melville College Lunch
We are delighted to welcome all FPs and guests to the Melville College Lunch on Friday 7 November 2025, from 12 noon at the Inverleith Clubhouse.
The afternoon will include a special showcase of heritage memorabilia, offering a chance to reminisce and celebrate the history of Melville College, whilst enjoying the company of fellow FPs and current staff. Guests can also look forward a delicious two course lunch and plenty of time to catch up with friends.
We hope to see many of you there for what promises to be a memorable occasion.
