Discover Outstanding Facilities
Open Day offers the perfect opportunity to explore the facilities that support learning, wellbeing and personal development across every stage of a child’s education.
At Junior School, all children are now based together on the beautiful Ravelston campus, benefiting from more than 40 acres of grounds alongside specialist STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) facilities, including a Home Economics suite, a full Product Design studio, a dedicated drama studio and much more.
At Senior School, visitors can see the Science, Innovation and Technology Centre, enhanced music facilities featuring a new recording studio and keyboard lab, a new gym and fitness suite, expanded library spaces, a new S6 Centre, and the Melville Wellbeing Hub – a new curated space for our Wellbeing provision including Place2Be counselling and dedicated dining facilities for the younger years.
See Academic Excellence in Action
Erskine Stewart Melville is built on a long tradition of academic success.
This year’s examination results saw 95 students achieve straight A grades at Higher, while attainment increased across National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher. Open Day allows families to learn more about the teaching, support and culture that help students achieve their full potential.
Learn About Exceptional Opportunities Beyond the Classroom
Education at Erskine Stewart Melville extends far beyond academic study.

Meet the Students Who Bring the School to Life
The best way to understand a school is to hear directly from the young people who attend it.
Throughout Open Day, our student guides will share their experiences, answer questions and provide a genuine insight into everyday life at Erskine Stewart Melville. Their enthusiasm, confidence and warmth are often what families remember most about their visit.
