Looking for an active, fun-filled way for your child to spend the summer holidays? Our ESMS Summer Sports Camps offers specialist coaching in rugby and hockey, run by experienced, enthusiastic coaches on our first-class sports pitches in the heart of Edinburgh.
These camps are open to all boys and girls from Primary 5 to S4, whether or not they attend ESMS – and no previous experience is needed! With inclusive games, matches, and team-building activities, and opportunities to make new friends, the camps will make every player feel welcome, confident, and excited to learn and grow in a fun, supportive environment.

3-day Rugby Skills Camp (Girls) – Open to All
The 3-day Rugby Skills Camp (Girls) will take place 7th – 9th July.
Location: Stewart’s Melville Rugby Playing Fields at Inverleith, 523 Ferry Road, Edinburgh, EH5 2DW.
Camps start at 9.30am, attendees should be dropped off at 9am with pick up at 3pm.
Cost: £60 per day
3-day Rugby Skills Camp (Boys) – Open to All
The 3-day Rugby Skills Camp (Boys) will take place 7th – 9th July.

Summer Hockey Camp 2025 (Open to All)
The Summer Hockey Camp will take place Monday, 11 August 2025 – Friday, 15 August 2025.
Location: The Mary Erskine School Hockey Astros.
Attendees should be dropped off at 9.30am for a 10.00am start and collected at 3pm.
£60.00 per day
October Rugby Camp 2025 (Open to All)
The 3-day Rugby Camp will take place from 20th – 22nd October 2025.
Location: Stewart’s Melville Rugby Playing Fields at Inverleith, 523 Ferry Road, Edinburgh, EH5 2DW.
Camps start at 9.30am, attendees should be dropped off at 9am, with pick up at 3pm.
Cost: £60.00 per day
October Hockey Camp 2025 (Open to All)
The 3-day Hockey Camp will take place from Monday 13th October to Wednesday 15th October 2025.
Location: Inverleith Hockey Pitches on East Fettes Avenue.
Drop off at 9.30am for a 10am start, with pick up at 3pm.
Cost: £60.00 per day
